Based on a true story, Silom Soi 2 is a heartfelt and sensitively crafted drama about modern gay life in Thailand. The center of Bangkok's gay scene is without doubt Silom Soi 2, a short lane crammed with bars and restaurants that cater exclusively to the gay community. This is where Tum, a young gay man escapes problems at home to meet friends and scope out potential loves. One night he spots the strikingly handsome Kaeng, and leaves with him, only to awaken alone in bed the next morning. Smitten, Tum seeks out Kaeng – but when he finds him, Kaeng has apparently moved on to a new conquest.

A gay romantic crime action drama, it is the story of a man who falls in love with a gunman who is assigned to kill him. A loner gunman named Mhek is assigned to kidnap a police informant named It, but Mhek has a change of heart when he is ordered to kill It. In a gunbattle with his employers, Mhek is wounded, but It grabs Mhek's gun and returns fire. The two men then escape on Mhek's motorcycle. It spends his days pining over Mhek, and tracks down Mhek's brother, Mhok, and their mother. Mhok is HIV positive, as the result of sexual abuse by his and Mhek's stepfather, and their mother is dying of AIDS.

Two young boys are best friends living quiet family lives in Bangkok. Their lives are disrupted when one boy's older sister goes missing on a jungle trip. The shattered family moves away, separating the boys. Years later, now in their late teens, the boys meet again. One of them is now the leader of an aspiring boy band whose managing assistant bears a striking resemblance to the lost sister. The boys must deal with their family and social lives and their feelings for each other.
